Beginning with the 2022 spring baseball and softball seasons, Wings and Rings Omaha has teamed with Millard United Sports to recognize one special player each week throughout the season as the presenting sponsor for the weekly “MUS Player of the Week.” 

“As the first pitch of the 82nd year for MUS is thrown, we are excited to partner with Wings and Rings to bring this opportunity to all of our sports to recognize a member weekly as ‘The MUS Player of the Week’” said Millard United Sports’ Assistant General Manager, Chris Folk.

Recipients are selected each week from nominations that are received from coaches, players, parents, fans and fellow athletes online at www.MillardUnited.com.

The MUS Player of the Week is a quality individual and someone who exemplifies what it means to be a MUS Athlete.  This is an athlete who always, both on and off the field, is a great player, teammate, friend, and representative of MUS.

“It’s important to remember that sports are not solely about winning and losing – at the end of the day, this nomination is not designed to solely recognize the ‘MVP’ of a team, game or season, but be more inclusive to recognize individuals that are kindhearted, positive, genuine people,” said Folk.
