Competitive Baseball Program
As an alternative to our Classic League teams, Millard United Sports offers opportunities for players who are able to commit to a more competitive and time demanding level of play. These teams play at AA, AAA and Majors USSSA levels. All Millard United teams have memberships to our Indoor Training Facilities (Championship Center & Field House). Our Indoor Facilities not only provides the space necessary to train, but offers classes and instruction from the best instructors in the Midwest.
Competitive teams are funded solely by team members through fees and/or fundraising events of the competitive program/team.
INTERESTED IN COACHING A MUS COMPETITIVE Team?
Coaches are a combination of non-parent or parent coaches. MUS places strong emphasis on assigning coaches that have appropriate experience playing baseball and/or strong experience to coach at the competitive level/age division. NEW 8U COMPETITIVE BASEBALL PROGRAMS & NEW TEAM BRANDING
The development of our players is the top priority in everything we do at Millard United Sports. To achieve this goal, supporting the development of our coaches becomes utterly critical. Over the past several years, we have made multiple changes to our training programs to further that mission. While all of these changes have been impactful, it is believed that there is further opportunity to evolve. A few years ago, the MUS Fury softball program adopted an academy-style training model for its beginning ages. Since its adoption, the Fury academy has proven to be successful at developing both players and coaches while also assuring that players are placed in situations that allow them the best opportunity to develop and achieve greater success on the field.
Based on that example, the MUS Competitive Baseball Program will be adopting the following two programs for its 8U teams.
