NFL Flag Football Registration Rates

Each player will also be responsible for paying the following 2 additional fees upon registration:

  1. Field usage fee of $9.50: this fee is Millard United's best estimate of what the City of Omaha will charge for use of the fields.
  2. Volunteer Verification & Assurance Fee of $5.00: Millard United has always considered the safety of our athletes a serious matter. As a precautionary effort, MUS has expanded upon its longtime background check policy for coaches. This fee will help offset the additional expenses incurred in the effort of safeguarding & continuing to provide a safe & fun environment for our athletes.

Payment Plan Option is Available: 50% is paid at registration with Two additional Payments (25% on June 10th and July 10th).  There is a $10 fee for the Payment Plan Option added to the Registration Fee

Returning players must register by June 15th to be placed on last season's team.

New players should register by July 1st but some teams/grade levels will fill to capacity.

Late Fee of $25 will be added to registration fees starting  midnight, 12am, of July 1st, 7/1 .  Team, coach & buddy requests are not guaranteed.

Our Divisions: are based on grade levels for the 2019-2020 school year.  This is a fall, in-house, non-travel league that utilizes the NFL Flag Rules, completely separate from our other flag program.

  • A program designed to offer an option to young players who do not want to move on to Tackle Football or older players looking for a fun, social, athletic activity
  •  Parents may need to provide a grade verification if requested.  
  • Returning players must register by June 15th to be placed on last season's team.
  • New players should register by July 1st as teams will fill to capacity.
  • Players are placed on teams based on school pathways, (Millard North, Millard South, Millard West, OPS-Burke and OOD-Out Of Distrtict).

Our Season: Games typically begin late August and the season goes through October or early November.

  • Games are played on Sundays.
  • Practices times & locations - set by coaches and MUS does not keep track of team practice schedules. Practices may start anytime after Meet Your Coach, but typically don't start until August.
  • Strength and Conditioning Training for NFL Flag - Register early for your fall MUS Football program to take advantage of the Strength & Conditioning Training. It is a once a week training, an additional day a week can be purchased also for $30, and will occur this July and August. See more information on the Indoor Facilities page; Football S & C.

Our Coaches & Teams: Rosters will be given to coaches at the Coach's Meeting, held the same day as the Meet Your Coach event.  Coaches will not contact players prior to meeting them at the Meet Your Coach event.

  • Registration Rates include a one-year parent-player membership to USA Football filled with learning videos and leading resources and tools, an NFL team-branded reversible jersey & NFL flag football belt.

Our Partnership with Athlete's Training Center

Athletes’ Training Center will be providing comprehensive strength & conditioning services.  Each session is conducted by a qualified strength coach who has specific training in speed development, movement mechanics & training loads.  Sessions will focus on football specific speed, agility, core, power & explosion, and endurance activities and will maintain a 1 to 20 coach to athlete ratio to make sure your athlete receives the highest quality instruction with a trained eye on them at all times.  Programming features a progressive training model & a curriculum that gets results.  Programming will also encompass strategies for the goal of reducing injury potential.

Millard United Coaches Training

Player safety is important to Millard United.  All head and assistant coaches are required to participate in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) concussion recognition & response protocols.
