Millard Days Parade Info

PLEASE BE AT PARADE STAGING #43 by 10:00am.  Parade begins promptly at 11:00am  Cheerleaders should wear MAA Uniform, Red bow and Red/Blue Poms.  We will warm up, practice a little, get lined up and the girls will have Cheer tattoos put on their face (need 2-4 moms to help).  Please plan to pick up your cheerleader promptly after the parade in the Hobby Lobby Parking Lot.

Tentative MAA Entry Lineup: Banner (carried by 2) > Truck > Trailer/Float with 12 riding cheerleaders > 6 Tots/Cheerleaders passing out candy, shirts, mini footballs > Elite V/Elite JV > Rest of Cheerleaders.  Will rotate riders as needed.  Remind to cheerleaders to toss (underhand) candy, shirts or squishy footballs - DO NOT THROW.

ABSOLUTLEY NO PARKING is allowed in the staging area.  The only vehicles allowed in are vehicles in the parade.  Any cars that are parked or left in the staging area will be noted and could affect entry into future parades.

The parking lot at the church, the school and the park at Oaks Lane and Anne Street will be off limits to parking.  If you need to park your vehicle arrive early and park in the surrounding neighborhoods.  Parking in any business lot is done at your own risk.

When entering the parade staging area, enter from either (1) 120th Street onto Anne Street and follow the road to the bottom of the hill or from (2) Q Street at Oaks Lane.  Do not try to come in from Millard Ave and L Street as you will be rerouted.  This will strictly be one way traffic.
