The Spirit Elite Program is for those cheerleaders ready to step up their cheer experience! Our recreational competitive teams are taught a higher level of building skills, tumbling skills, & an overall higher level of cheer choreography than any other program MU Cheer offers. 

S.E.T. (Spirit Elite Tough) Summer Conditioning! This optional class is an affordable way to keep your cheerleader in shape thru the summer months. S.E.T. is only available to registered Spirit Elite athletes. S.E.T. classes will be held from....

• May 2nd - June 29th (16 classes)
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays
    • 6:00-7:00pm @ MUS Championship Center
• Cost is $125.00
• No class on May 30th or June 1st

SPIRIT ELITE RUBIES & DIAMONDS

• Competing in the Level 1 & Level 2 Performance Rec category. 
• Attending 5-7 cheer competitions both local & regional, along with performing at 1-2 local showcases.
  • The specific dates/locations of competitions we plan to attend will be announced at the beginning of the  season.
  • This is also a year where we will be working to earn a bid to attend The Quest Recreational Nationals in Orlando, FL!!! 
• Rubies must be 7 years old by August 1, 2023.
• Diamonds must be 10 years old by August 1, 2023.
• Full Season teams kick off their season with Parade Clinics on July 28th and the season will run through April. 
• Each team will have one 75-minute practice on Tuesday's, & one 2-hour practice on Saturday, beginning the first week of August.

DIAMONDS TRYOUT - Saturday, June 17 @ 1:00-3:00PM
Athletes that would like to be on the Level 2 Diamonds team must attend this tryout!  *Returning Diamonds are grand-fathered to the team, but are REQUIRED to participate in the tryout.
 

RUBIES SKILLS ASSESMENT - Saturday - June 17 @ 12:00PM
MANDATORY to assess jumps, tumbling, & stunting skills to help coaches build routine choreography.  All skill levels welcome!      

 NO TRYOUT.
 

SPIRIT ELITE MEET YOUR COACH/UNIFORM FITTINGS
Monday, June 19 6:30-8:30pm @ MUS Championship Center

2023 RATES -

***What do my registration fees cover?  Registration fees cover season coaching fees, practice facility rental fees, showcase entry fees, competition music fees, & MUS administrative fees.

2023- Cheer Competition fees are not included in registration fees. The competitions we attend will be decided in August after the full list of competitions is released for the year. At that time Parent's will be required to pay all competition registration fees into team accounts. 

• Team fundraising opportunities will be available & all fundraising money earned will be divided equally among team members and used to offset costs of competition fees!  

Payment Plan Options Available: 

• Spirit Elite Teams: payment plan is similar to a monthly tuition. If you choose the payment plan route you will pay a down payment of $300 upon registration, and then have payments of $150.00/month during the season. The payments will start being automatically pulled from your bank account starting July 15, and will proceed on the 15th of each month with the final monthly payment falling on January 15. The $300 you paid upfront at registration will serve as the payment for your final 2 months of tuition for February & March!     

Upon Registration each player will also be responsible for the Volunteer Verification & Assurance Fee of $5.00: Millard United considers the safety of our athletes a serious matter.  This fee helps offset the expenses incurred in the effort of safeguarding & continuing to provide a safe & fun environment for our athletes. 

Late Fee of $50 will be added to Spirit Elite Full Season registrations starting June 1 and to Spirit Elite Half Season registrations starting October 1.  

Registration Closes on June 15 for Spirit Elite Full Season teams, and October 15th for Spirit Elite Half Season Team.

SPIRIT ELITE UNIFORMs are purchased SEPARATE FROM REGISTRATION FEES. 

TEAMS WEAR THE SAME UNIFORM FOR 2 YEARS to HELP KEEP COSTS DOWN FOR returning FAMILIES!  

Required Uniforms include: Varsity brand practice uniform (tank, skirt), competition uniform (liner, skirt), custom performance bow, white cheer shoes.​​​​

*2023 Required Uniform costs are estimated around $485.00. Optional warm-up package $170.00, and optional practice bra top $52.00.

Optional/Additional Cheer Activities (some may have a cost associated with participation):

• Storm Chasers Performance,
• Millard Days Parade,
• Campfire Social at Vala's Pumpkin Patch
• Community Service Projects
  • Diaper Drive
• MU Cheer Showcase
• Other High School & College Showcases (typically attend Millard North Dance Team Showcase, Millard West Jam the Gym Showcase, and possibly Midland Cheer & Dance Festival)

QUEST RECREATIONAL NATIONALS COMPETITION
Spirit Elite Full Season teams compete at The Quest every 2 years. We will plan to attend again for the 2023-24 Season. If the team receives a bid to The Quest Recreational National competition in Orlando Spirit Elite Rubies & Diamonds cheerleaders are expected to participate in fundraising and travel for this event if a bid is received! Families will be expected to participate in fundraising events!
