Athletic Development by Athletes’ Training Center

About the Company

Athletes’ Training Center has been on the cutting edge of strength and conditioning since its inception in 2009.

Led by Director of Sports Performance Trenton Clausen, the team of performance coaches are second to none in the Midwest.  The training methodology is a proven approach and there is always a mindful eye on injury reduction strategies and keeping kids safe.

About the Training

Each session will be limited to 24 athletes or less and will be staffed by two performance coaches.  This is important for keeping a good coach to athlete ratio.  This approach yields far better results for each athlete as well as promotes safety.

During each session athletes will begin by performing a dynamic warm-up with specific attention to neural preparation activities to maximize their training time.  Then, they will begin a curriculum of plyometric, speed development, and explosive power activities focused on developing quick, powerful athletes.  Most importantly though, all activities are age appropriate and based on the developmental stages of growing kids to keep them safe.

To get the most out of training, a consistent approach over time is crucial.

Athletes that make an effort to attend their sessions on a regular and consistent basis each week will see the best results.

About the Coaching Team

All performance coaches at Athletes’ Training Center have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree and maintain or are working towards the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.  (This is the only credential in the fitness industry that requires continuing education and the credential held by college and professional coaches).  Many of them have or are working towards their Master’s degree, as well as have a collective wealth of experience from impactful internships.
