Our NFL Flag Sideline Cheer program teaches the FUNdamentals of cheer in a positive & non-competitive environment.

This program cheers for our MUS Flag football teams. Practices & game days for our NFL Flag cheer program are shorter in comparison to our Classic Tackle sideline cheer program.   

Included with registration:  Practice shirt, Varsity brand uniform, poms & bow.                      Parents must purchase white shoes.

MANDATORY Meet Your Coach / Uniform Fittings - July 16th

*Cheerleaders that cannot make it to the MYC/Uniform Fitting must do a virtual uniform fitting no later than July 20th


The season kicks off in late July and runs through late October.

 

PRACTICE: Teams have a 60-minute practice once a week on THURSDAY evenings; held at either a MPS or MUS facility.

GAMES:  Games are held on Saturdays or Sundays (45-60 minutes long).  Schedules are provided in advance.

CHEER TEAMS: Teams are assigned to specific MUS Flag Football teams and cheer at 7 - 10 NFL Flag football games.  Games typically start late August.

CHEER FUN: Fun spirit themes at games: PINK OUTBLACK OUT!   Optional/Additional Cheer Activities (some may have a cost associated with participation):

  • Community Service Project
  • MU Cheer Showcase Performance

Please note - This is an Introductory level program.  Only low level introductory stunting will be taught compared to our Classic Tackle Cheer Program.

Cheerleaders may "play up" one year of age which may allow them to "bump up" to the next division in some cases.  Minimum age for Tinis is 4 by August 31, 2022.

Each player will also be responsible for the following upon registration:

  1. Volunteer Verification & Assurance Fee of $5.00: Millard United considers the safety of our athletes a serious matter.  This fee helps offset the expenses incurred in the effort of safeguarding & continuing to provide a safe & fun environment for our athletes.
  2. Fundraisers Note: To keep our rates as low as possible we do require each family to donate to our MU Cheer Showcase. All requested donations are roughly a $10.00 value. 

Payment Plan Options Available:  50% paid at registration with balance paid on July 1.  There is a $5 per payment fee for the Payment Plan Options added to the Registration Fee.  

Late Fee of $50 will be added to registrations starting July 1. Team, coach & buddy requests are not guaranteed on Late Registrations.  Coach, Team & Buddy requests are allowed, but cannot be guaranteed.
