Each player will also be responsible for the following upon registration:

1. Purchasing all required sideline uniform pieces.. Parents must also provide white cheer shoes.

2. Volunteer Verification & Assurance Fee of $5.00: Millard United considers the safety of our athletes a serious matter.  This fee helps offset the expenses incurred in the effort of safeguarding & continuing to provide a safe & fun environment for our athletes.

3. Fundraisers Note: We never ask you sell anything. To keep our rates as low as possible we do require each family to donate to our MU Cheer Showcase. All requested donations are roughly a $10.00 value. 

Payment Plan Option Available:  50% paid at registration with 2 additional payments ( May 1  & June 1).  There is a $5 per payment fee for the Payment Plan Options added to the Registration Fee.  

Late Fee of $50 will be added to registrations starting June 1. Coach, Team, or Buddy requests are allowed, but cannot be guaranteed.  Registration Closes on June 15.

NFL FLAG CHEER TEAMS: Introductory program for young beginners teaching proper technique in the basics of cheerleading. No stunts skills will be taught.  These teams cheer for MUS Flag football program. Games begin in late August/early September thru late October and are on Saturday or Sundays. *Returning cheerleaders in 1st or 2nd grade may be grandfathered into JV tackle cheer.

• NEW 2023.... utilizing Volunteer Coaches! Our MU Cheer Director teaches material at 1 practice a week with all squads & coaches. Coaches may hold additional practices with their squad & are responsible for game day.  

TACKLE CHEER TEAMS: Program for beginning & experienced cheerleaders teaching intro stunt technique to JV teams & more advanced skills for Varsity teams. Cheer at a minimum of 6 games, most local. Games begin in late August thru late October and are on Saturdays or Sundays. *Returning cheerleaders previously rostered on Varsity will be grandfathered onto a 2023 Varsity team. 

• NEW 2023...utilizing Volunteer Assistant Coaches! MU Cheer will continue to provide Head Coaches with cheer experience, but Volunteer Assistant coaches help.

MU CHEER FUN/ACTIVITIES:  All MU Cheer teams will participate in our end of season Halloween Spooktacular Cheer Showcase. Teams will also participate in a couple of fun themed game days like a BLACK OUT! Optional/Additional Activities (some may have a cost associated with participation): Storm Chasers Performance, Millard Days Parade, Campfire Social at Vala's Pumpkin Patch.

NEW 2023...MU Cheer shows pride for MUS! All Sideline Cheerleaders have the same MUS Cheer Uniform & will cheer for various flag or tackle teams weekly.  Uniforms will be same for at least 2 years to keep cost down for returning families!
