Each player will also be responsible for the following upon registration:

1. Purchasing all required sideline uniform pieces.. Parents must also provide white cheer shoes.

2. Volunteer Verification & Assurance Fee of $5.00: Millard United considers the safety of our athletes a serious matter.  This fee helps offset the expenses incurred in the effort of safeguarding & continuing to provide a safe & fun environment for our athletes.

Payment:   Registration fees are due at the time of Registration. Uniform fees are separate from the registration fees. Uniform fees will be due at uniform fittings Mid June. 

Late Fee of $50 will be added to registrations starting June 1. Coach, Team, or Buddy requests are allowed, but cannot be guaranteed.  Registration Closes on June 15.

SIDELINE CHEER TEAMS: Introductory program for athletes grade 1-8. MUS focuses on  teaching proper technique in the basics of cheerleading. No stunts skills will be taught.  These teams cheer for MUS NFL Flag football and/or MUS Tackle football games. Games begin in late August/early September thru late October and are on Saturday or Sundays. Skills, technique and routines will increase in complexity as the season progresses and/or when the team shows they are ready to move to more difficult routines.

• We aim to utilize paid Head Coaches and volunteer assistant coaches! Our MU Cheer Director teaches material at 1 practice a week with all squads & coaches. Coaches may hold additional practices with their squad & are responsible for game day.  

*Our cheer squads will cheer at both NFL Flag Football Games and/or Home Tackle Football Games. Both NFL Flag and Tackle games will offer the "Sideline" experience, allowing the squad to cheer at the Millard High School fields. 

MU CHEER FUN/ACTIVITIES:: Storm Chasers Performance, Millard Days Parade.

All Sideline Cheerleaders have the same MUS Cheer Uniform & will cheer for various flag or tackle teams weekly.  Uniforms will be same for at least 2 years to keep cost down for returning families! All 2024 teams will be required to purchase a new uniform as we are using a different supplier for the 2024 season.
