Competitive Baseball Tryouts
As an alternative to our Classic League teams, Millard United Sports offers opportunities for players who are able to commit to a more competitive and time demanding level of play. These teams play at AA, AAA and Majors USSSA levels. All Millard United teams have memberships to our Indoor Training Facilities (Championship Center & Field House). Our Indoor Facilities not only provides the space necessary to train, but offers classes and instruction from the best instructors in the Midwest.
Competitive teams are funded solely by team members through fees and/or fundraising events of the competitive program/team.
Level of Play
The age determination date for the 2026 Competitive Baseball season is May 1, 2026.
The minimum age requirement to tryout or participate in the 7U competitive baseball season is 7 years old on the age determination date.
Tryout Info
Players may attend one or both of the tryout sessions and times
Check-In starts 30 minutes prior to posted tryout time
Players should warmup their arms prior to tryouts

** These items are included in the Average Costs listed. These are paid through the MUS Competitive Player Registration. The balance of Average Costs are paid to the coach based on the team budget. Average Costs do not include travel expenses (hotel, meals, etc).
This information is an average that fits a majority of our teams, however, some teams may exceed these ranges.
