All of the teams in these leagues are “select” teams that regularly travel to weekend tournaments and seek the highest level of competition. These teams typically practice all winter and eventually will play up to 60-70 games through the end of the summer. These leagues are designed for the softball player that—in the early age divisions (10U-12U-14U)—wants to develop the necessary for high school varsity competition.
The older age division (16U-18U) generally includes players who are members of their high school teams. Nearly every team plays in post season tournaments, seeking to advance on to regional and national competition. The age groups available are 10U-12U-14U-16U-18U.
Generally, league competition will begin the third or fourth week in April and continue through late June or early July.
